![]() ![]() The software allows you to store up to 5 fingerprints on the device. The device snappily responds to your finger, although accuracy still has rooms for improvement. However, recent OTA’s have addressed this issue in a major way. ![]() Or maybe I over expected, hoping for a repeat of the P8000. Out-of-the-box, the P9000 underperformed per my expectations. Unless you use a case on the device to add some depth for the sensor, you will likely need to practice a lot before you can just rely on muscle memory to place your finger on the sensor. The sensor is not distinctively set apart from the body as the P8000’s was, blending in a little too much with the rough-soft Sandstone back. With the P9000, the sensor has been put at the back of the device again. The fingerprint sensor tends to “blend” in with the rest of the device due to its shallow depth.
